Global market leader Hyundai's vision for hydrogen cars

Sales figures for fuel cell cars in Germany are very low and lag behind electric cars in terms of new registrations. Most manufacturers are therefore holding back on commercial production of this type of vehicle. Exceptions are Toyota and Hyundai, where hydrogen is expected to continue to play a role in the product range. Hyundai is the world market leader in passenger cars with fuel cells, with a market share of over 50 percent. The Group has the technology for the entire value chain. Sales are supported by stable demand from Asia. The company's top managers will soon present their vision and strategy for the hydrogen business at the CES technology trade show in Las Vegas in early 2024.
